Horse Racing tips: Our best 11 bets to set the Sunday scene at Gulfstream

Another bumper card Stateside on the Sky Sports Racing tellybox tonight.

18:00 Water Wizard @ 3/1

Jockey Mario Fuentes has been doing particularly well lately and his mount Water Wizard looks a player in this wide-open looking maiden claimer. Water Wizard put in her best effort in defeat on her latest start in early March and the eager featherweight retains the ride. The unexposed Tumbadora is having her first run for the in form Saffie Joseph stable and is rated the main threat.

18.31 – R Kiss Em Goodbye @ 6/4

The speedy unexposed filly Swirling Candy has been in fine form lately but the wide gate draw in what looks a tricky sprint is a worry. R Kiss Em Goodbye is having her second run back after an absence and is ideally housed for a big run. The five-year-old mare had been knocking on the door prior to her most recent absence & should be capable of winning a race like this.

19.02 – Kiffle @ 5/4

Kiffle is having her first run for trainer Robert Hess and she’s run well in better races than this in the past. Hess has had three winners from only seven runners in the last 14 days and is sure to have this one ripe to score first time up for him.

The inside gate draw is another positive.

With plenty of pace up front the race could be run to suit Midnight Miracle who could well pass a few tiring horses to pick up a place.

19.33 R Mercedes Boy @ 5/4

Cryogenic is a recent winner over course & distance and looks sure to put in another decent performance tonight. R Mercedes Boy was in way over his head at Tampa in December and the drop in trip and grade as well as the draw near the fence are positives. We’ll chance him!

20.04 Seayouatthebreakers @ 3/1

Kashan put in an improved effort in defeat in her third start March 6th. She looks sure to be bang there in this tricky maiden special weight.

Any support for Seayouatthebreakers should be noted. She contested much higher class races than this as a two-year-old at Belmont and the filly is having her first run for trainer William Mott tonight.

20.37 Mane Attraction @ 11/1 (each-way)

Eager featherweight jockey Mario Fuentes gets the leg up on Mane Attraction for the first time tonight and takes a valuable 7lb off her back. The filly has placed in two of her last six starts to date. We think Fuentes can get a little more out of her tonight and she represents plenty of each-way value.

The favourite Gotta Go Mo has been running well and has an ideal inside gate to work from.

21.09 Subsidiary @ 2/1

Subsidiary went close after a break on March 12th and looks set to get back to winning ways. She ran in a Stakes race over a mile at Saratoga last July and should be more than capable of scoring in this class.

Fast Venezuela won well in this class on March 5th and  can be expected to go close from tonight’s gate draw.

21.41 Scanno @ 5/1

Voodoo Zip has been knocking hard on the door and he should run another solid race tonight.

Scanno ran on well in defeat March 7th. The drop down to a mile and the booking of Hector Berrios for the ride are two positives that swing our vote.

22.13 Proven Strategies @ 3/1

Proven Strategies finished sixth in the Breeders Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita in November. He finally lost his maiden tag over course & distance March 5th. He’s very hard to oppose as he goes for the double in a winnable race like this.

First And Three has been knocking hard on the door lately and can follow our selection home for the forecast.

22.45 Up In Smoke @ 9/4

The unbeaten filly Up In Smoke is going for her third win on the bounce and  we see no reason to oppose George Weaver’s filly. Hot Jockey Luis Saez taking over in the saddle is another positive. R Prerogative has disappointed her supporters lately but shouldn’t be discounted as drawn in stall one and is a fair each-way shout.

23.16 Catnip Kitten @ 9/4

Catnip Kitten ran well in defeat over course and distance on Feb 11th. Joel Rosario takes over in the saddle tonight and the consistent filly gets our vote. Got The Gist is worth a market check on her return to action after a break. She’s having her first run for Georgina Baxter who’s booked top jock Luis Saez for the ride.
