Jockey Samy Camacho rides Tampa to a 20% win strike rate and even better is 22% when teaming up with trainer Gerald Bennett so Nikki Bella instantly catches the eye. Bennett boasts a 29% strike rate when running one in a first time claimer. All these stats point to me that Nikki Bella will take a lot of beating here.
In what looks a two horse race Chaos Kid appears overpriced in the race between himself and odds on Dynaform with only one Beyer point between their best performances. Chaos Kid come here on the back of a win and is partnered again by top local jockey Centeno (22% strike rate around here) and stands out as an each way bet in this 8 runner contest.
My best bet on the card comes in the penultimate race. Our favourite Lundqvist is a far better horse on turf than dirt and I really want to take him on here and will be doing so with Maru’s Raven who is an out and out dirt performer, will be able to use his early speed to grab the rail from stall 7 and be very hard to get pegged back from the lead once his jockey sets sensible fractions.
