Majestic Thunder is looking to recapture his winning Jebel Ali form and winning form is nearly a prerequisite for claiming victory here. Majestic Thunder has shown he can get up the famous hill and he is 3lbs better off the than the likely favourite, Tailor’s Row, on this encounter.

10:30 – George Villiers (NAP) @ 5/4
I am hoping to land my bet of the day here before I have my second coffee of the day finished. George Villiers has been running in some very hot Carnival races at Meydan this year including winning the aptly named Jebel Ali Port. Although this is his first time to tackle the Jebel Ali hill his run style suggests that he should be hitting it strongly.
13:00 – Torno Subito @ 11/4
It would not be too often one finds a good bet in a Jebel Ali maiden but I think Torno Subito may be the exception to the rule. He was an eyecatcher over course and distance last time out coupled with the fact we laid some late money on him as they were loading up but he may have run into a good one that day where the form has worked out nicely so I fully expect the Watson and Dobbs partnership will be right back to the winners enclosure.
