Regal Lilly – 19:00 Kempton
Regal Lilly has shaped well on several occasions over inadequate trips and is one to be interested in now belatedly tackling middle distances.
She was having just her second start for the in-form David Simcock yard when still not looking the finished article over the extended mile at Wolverhampton last time, travelling well until the pace quickened entering the straight and then staying on well to finish fifth.
She had to race from 3lb out of the handicap on that occasion too, and is now fancied to open her account returned to calmer waters over a trip she should relish.

Home Before Dusk – 20:00 Kempton
Home Before Dusk did little wrong when narrowly denied in a falsely-run race over this C&D last time and is well worth backing to resume winning ways. He has been in fine form on the all-weather this winter, and proved he is still on a good mark last time.
Admittedly, he has been raised 4 lb since, but he didn’t get chance to show what he is capable of last time, and this race hasn’t as much depth.

Warriors Tale – 15:55 Doncaster
Warriors Tale hasn’t been seen since being pulled up in the Grand National last season, but he returns from a 3 lb lower mark, and takes his chance in veterans’ company for the first time.
He also has some good course form to call upon – finished runner-up in the 2018 Sky Bet Chase over C&D – and could be worth chancing in an open event.
