Sam Brown to win the RSA Chase 14/1

Copperhead to win the Ultima Chase – 16/1

I was on the From The Horse’s Mouth podcast this week where Tom Nugent wanted one tip off me for Cheltenham.

But I just had to give him two – and I’ll talk you through them.

If the ground comes up as soft – or on the easy side of good – and Sam Brown runs in the RSA Chase, I think he’s got a chance. I’m a massive fan of the horse.

There’s been some money for Copperhead in the RSA but were he to line up in the Ultima Handicap Chase on the first day, I’d be very interested in him too.

He’s been marked in the mid-140s and he ran really well at Newbury last time out. I’d be very interested in him if he ran in that race.

Cash Back to win the Arkle – 7/1

I am going to go for Cash Back in the Arkle. I think at 7/1 – Notebook’s 11/4 and there wasn’t much between them at Leopardstown last week and Cash Back could improve again.

Paddy Power

I’m going to go with a horse that’s been at Leopardstown as well – Aspire Tower.

He fell at the last but would have won at Leopardstown had he stood up. At 7/1, I think that’s too much of an overreaction.
