Horse racing punter lands incredible fivefold to turn £2 into £3500 in less than two hours

Respect.

There was that Friday feeling for one lucky horse racing punter from Walton-on-Thames last week. For they managed to pick five straight winners in an inspired 100 minutes of racing to land an incredible 1,743/1 fivefold, turning £2 into £3,489.

But the winners would have made our Hall of Famer sweat with THREE winning by the tightest of margins. The first came at Doncaster when the Noel Williams-trained Fantastic Ms Fox, with an SP of 5/1, edged out Guardia Top by a length-and-a-half to win the Sky Bet Fillies’ Juvenile Hurdle.

It was over to Huntingdon 10 minutes later when 4/1 favourite Phoenix Way snuck home by a head to overcome Kansas City Chief.

Another favourite in Noble Peace then came in to win the 15.15 at Lingfield to make it three from three. Back at Doncaster, it was a close-run thing for selection number four in the Enter ITV7 Tonight Novices’ Handicap Hurdle where Wakool snuck past Swilly Sunset to win by half a length to keep the dream alive.

All hopes were then on the shoulders of Harry Skelton, who was on the saddle of favourite Third Time Lucki in the last race at Doncaster. He duly rode with aplomb to land the win – and the fivefold – to leave our punter £3,500 richer.
