13:10 Market Rasen – Seemingly So

Looked on a reasonable mark last time before eventually pulling up early in the home straight but that was off a 10 month absence. He’s going to need to step forward plenty for that run but with the application of cheek pieces here, Seemingly So looks worthy of another try given his mark is 3lbs lower this time.

13:50 Ludlow – Gosheven

Returned after an absence to run a creditable race last month at Chepstow behind Harry Senior.

I would expect Gosheven to build on that and give he finished 3rd two season back in a Grade 2 novice hurdle, a race of this nature should be well within his reach.

14:20 Ludlow – At Its Own Expense

Couldn’t peg back a front runner last time at Taunton over shorter distance but Phillip Hobbs has looked to have found a good opportunity for At Its Own Expense to get back to winning ways here. He’s a pretty consistent performer in the main and he’s unexposed over fences so I’d expect him to go very close.
