Horse Racing tips: Give it dixie with our traders’ trixie on Saturday’s tellybox

Here's three to see if we can get a winner.

Some very competitive races at Warwick and Kempton on Saturday that are set up well from a punting perspective.

I’ve zipped through the cards and rather than go for a pick per race – we’ll throw just three darts at the board and hope that at least one hits the bullseye.

Warwick 14:25 – Harry Senior @ 11/4

There’s not a lot between the field in this 2m 5f Novice Hurdle but Harry Senior seems to have the best credentials having form with some of the best novices in the UK that we’ve seen this year. He ran out a convincing winner of a maiden hurdle at Chepstow last month and the Colin Tizzard / Robbie Power combo are in a rich vein of form.

15:00 Warwick – The Conditional @ 10/3

David Bridgwater’s runner runner looks a massive standout in the Classic Chase where Paddy is paying the first 5 home. He was an excellent second in the Ladbroke Trophy at Newbury on his last start, travelling like the best horse in the contest, and this race would look a lot weaker than that.

Was previously a winner of a 3m 1f Handicap at Cheltenham on heavy ground so stamina is assured. May have the potential to blow this field apart and enter the Aintree Grand National picture next April as a serious player.

15:15 Kempton – On the Blind Side @ 7/4

Nicky Henderson’s runner is not entirely straightforward, but if he can’t win this race then he’s one to swerve in the future. He has course and distance form last season when beating subsequent Bet365 Gold Cup winner Talkischeap and ran really well on his last start when running into an exciting type in Riders Onthe Storm at Ascot.

If he brings that level of form into this contest he should prove hard to beat.
