Top Notch is the favourite here, and it’s hard to look beyond him. Ruby Walsh thinks Frodon is looking strong and Kauto Riko is a fly in the ointment.
But I’m going against him because there’s a story going around about Frodon having ulcers.
Now Ruby says that’s curable pretty quickly… but I’m ignoring him and still saying Top Notch is a good thing!

Notre Pari tops the market and trainer Olly Murphy is in cracking form. Frank Hickey speaks very highly of the favourite and also fancies Tim Vaughan’s Tight Call.
But it’s Larkbarrow Lad for me, I think he’s got a decent shout for Phillip Hobbs and jockey Tom O’Brien. The reason being is how well he won in last victory. He ran the long way around the track on the outside and still came in first!
So I think he’ll probably have a little bit more up his sleeve, because he would have covered more ground in that race.
I think all that might have left him overlooked, and it gives him a chance even among this decent company.
