Fairly low grade events at Fakenham on Tuesday and as such it will probably pay to follow UK Champion Jockey Richard Johnson, who has a couple of interesting rides.
Firstly in the opening Novices’ Hurdle at 12:40 he takes over in the saddle on Pink Sheets who has her first start over obstacles. She won a bumper for Mick Channon before current trainer Mick Quinn threw her into a pair of Listed races where she was ultimately outclassed, but showed enough to feature in a moderate affair such as this one. She can out-run her current odds of 9/2.
In the 2:40 Novices’ Handicap Chase Johnson also takes the ride on Speedy Cargo for the first time. The six-year-old hasn’t shaped too badly on both of his starts for his new yard and may just be building up to full fitness as he embarks on a career over fences.
Trader tips: This 12/1 double looks just Champion on Tuesday

He has point-to-point experience which should stand him in good stead (including a good third behind the smart Beakstown) and a mark of 105 should be well within his scope. At 6/4, we’re willing to pay to see if he has what it takes.
