13:10 Huntingdon: Land League
Land League had been a model of consistency prior to his last run finishing second three times in a row. He was a disappointing 6th on his last start but I think that can be forgiven that run as it was his first run over three miles under rules.
He returns to 2 and a half miles here and the handicapper has dropped him back to a mark of 105. His trainer also is making a change applying blinkers for the first time hopefully this will eke out enough improvement for Land League to get a much deserved success.
13:40 Huntingdon: Sebastopol
Sebastopol had some decent form in novice hurdles last season and he looked on a fair mark on seasonal debut. He proved that was the case as he absolutely bolted up and he was promoted to favourite for the Greatwood Hurdle on the back of that display.
He sidesteps that valuable prize to come here and it could be a wise move as he is getting to race on good ground which he would be unlikely to get at Cheltenham. It would be disappointing if he were to be turned over here.
