Timeform: Three bets handpicked for you for Tuesday’s cards

A Nap, next best and an each way - what more could you want?

NAP: Yvette @ Evens 14:00 – Newcastle

Yvette put in an encouraging performance with a fast-finishing second at Kempton last month, and the form of that handicap has worked out well, with the third, fourth and sixth all winning since.

That was only Yvette’s third start in handicap company and the well-bred filly – her dam won a Group 2 – remains open to plenty of improvement. She runs off a handicap rating just 2lb higher than the one she competed off at Kempton and can take advantage of that lenient mark over a trip which promises to suit.

NEXT BEST: Jubilympics @ 5/1 – 15:00 Exeter

Jubilympics ran better than ever to finish runner-up at Warwick on her first start for Emma Lavelle this month, and she should go close off a 2lb higher mark. She kept on nicely to be beaten only half a length at Warwick, shaping as if the step up to three miles will suit, and she ought to relish this stiffer test.

She can do better yet for her in-form trainer who registered a double at Kempton on Sunday. Thegoaheadman is an interesting contender for Jessica Harrington. She won well at Downpatrick last time and is among the main dangers.

EACH-WAY: Dangerous Ends @ 7/1 – 20:30 Kempton

Dangerous Ends disappointed when finishing last of nine in a handicap at Chelmsford in August but he was left poorly placed and that performance was not a fair reflection of his ability.

He has tumbled down the weights and is down to his last winning mark, so could be worth chancing at a track he goes well at (has won here three times). He should be suited by the step-up in trip, while the forecast strong pace should play to the strengths of this hold-up performer.
