Matt Chapman: I’m all over this 7/2 Passion play at Doncaster on Thursday

Here's four who just might score at Town Moor.

Four races on the main ITV network from Doncaster on Thursday as we gear up to the weekend’s final Classic of the season, the St Leger.

We start at Let’s get straight to it, and the 14.10 at Doncaster is an extended 6f handicap. This is tricky, but GRACEFUL MAGIC looked unlucky for Eve Johnson Houghton at Goodwood last time and might be worth a few quid each-way to gain compensation. He disappointed the time before over 7f, but this trip might be ideal.

The Group 2 Park Hill over an extended 1m 6f is the feature race of the day at 14.40. ENBIHAAR should take all the beating for John Gosden and Jim Crowley. She won the Lancashire Oaks in July and then impressed at Goodwood last time looking a right tank of a horse. She looks the real improver in the ranks and is top rated off 113.

Frankie Dettori rides Dame Malliot for Ed Vaughan and she’s won three of her last four starts – most recently a Group 2 in Deauville and step ups in trip here. Aidan O’Brien sends Epsom Oaks fifth Delphinia over from Ireland and she shapes like these extra couple of furlongs could suit her. If you don’t fancy short-priced favs – she could be the each-way play in the race if the dead eight stay in.

There’s a big sales race over an extended 6f at 15.15. HARPOCRATES is down in trip but is a decent tool and looks obvious to me. The Aidan O’Brien runner could be miles better than this lot and knows how to win after tasting victory at Naas two starts back. He’s been turned over in his last couple of runs – but it was in decent races. Come on Ryan Moore!

We end the terrestrial coverage with the the Group 2 May Hill Stakes over 1m at 15.45. Cloak of Spirits looked an absolute machine at Ascot, but he lacks experience and I will  stick with PASSION for O’Brien and Moore once again. She hacked up at Cork last time and looks useful.

You hear me Paddy?
