Traders’ Tips Monday: This 50/1 treble would be quite a nice start to the week

Monday Monday, so good to me

Ripon-Racecourse

15:55 Ripon – Lambeth Walk @ 7/2

Lambeth Walk ran an excellent race when fourth in the Duchess Of Cambridge last time and I think that was one of the hottest two-year-old races run this year. She has Platinum Star to beat here, though he was disappointing on his last start and I think he’s opposable. Archie Watson has been in good form of late and I think this track will suit, so she could be difficult to beat.

15:15 Cartmel – Teaser @ 9/4

Teaser has taken a while to get the hang of jumping, though was much better at Newton Abbott last time and he looks to hold a solid chance here again. He’s the most unexposed horse in the field and gets the useful four-year-old allowance against exposed types, so if his jumping holds up, I think he’ll win.

16:25 Cartmel – Double Treasure @ 11/4

Double Treasure has quite an in and out profile though I think he can take advantage of a weak race here. He ran much better in a decent race at Bangor last time, only beaten five lengths into fourth with some useful types in behind him.

If you go back to the beginning of last season, he chased home the high-class Secret Investor at Chepstow, beaten two lengths, and that horse is now rated 150 over fences. Double Treasure runs off 135 here and looks by far the best-handicapped horse in the field to me.

Treble pays over 50/1:

15:55 Ripon – Lambeth Walk @ 7/2
15:15 Cartmel – Teaser @ 9/4
16:25 Cartmel – Double Treasure @ 11/4

Monday, Monday, da daaa. So Good to me, da daaa.
