Ruby Walsh: Here’s a 4/1 double in Ballinrobe to help cheer up the locals

They could do with a lift in Co. Mayo.

It’s his first run since November but Good Luck Hope runs in the 2m 5f Maiden Hurdle at 19.40 for James Nash and it looks like an ideal opportunity for him to open his account over hurdles, at the third time of asking.

He followed up his seventh-place finish behind Felix Desjy at Galway last October when just over eight lengths third behind the odds-on Rhinestone in a 2m Maiden Hurdle at Naas.

Robbie Power takes the ride.

We run Pencreek in the last race on the card, the 2m bumper at 20.40. Hopefully, he can reverse the trend of our recent bumper runners who haven’t exactly covered themselves in glory.

The six-year-old goes well at home and runs in the same colours of Quick Grabim.

Hopefully he can collect tonight.
