This Sunday deadly double at Galway and Chester pays out at 12/1

Chester 3.10 – Major Jumbo

Major Jumbo (5/4) drops down in grade for this Listed contest and should prove difficult to beat from his good draw. He was only just touched off in this race last season when he was headed on the line by Kimberella.

This looks a weaker renewal and he may be able to outclass this field.

Galway 3.55 – Quizical

Quizical (5/1) was extremely unlucky not to win the big mile handicap at Galway on Tuesday, where he didn’t get the clearest of runs and when he got out in the clear he fairly flew home to be beaten less than a length. He has a 7lb swing with the winner there, Saltonstall, who is favourite and I think there is every chance he can reverse the form.

There is plenty of rain forecast for Sunday and Galway and this will only enhance the claims for Quizical as he tends to relish an ease, while many of this field will be inconvenienced if the ground turns soft.
