Traders Tips: Top Tug can pull in a 14/1 return at Goodwood

The Stewards Cup at Goodwood is Saturday's highlighted race and there are extra places on offer a-plenty to hopefully help with making a profit.

The price has started to shorten, but Puds would still look a knocking each-way bet at 11/2 for what is a poor race for the pot. 14 of the 24 runners are due to have their marks dropped after this race showing how weak it is and Puds is the only one that has everything in her favour. She has loads of Goodwood form, looks to have been targeted here and has a very good draw in stall six.

Very hard to see her out of the places at the very least, particularly with the extra places available.

14:25 Goodwood

Top Tug could be worth a small each-way investment at 14/1. He has some very good course form and has dropped to a workable mark with Ryan Moore booked.

Manuela De Vega is the clear favourite at 3/1 for us and worth a look. She was a bit disappointing in the Irish Oaks though was unsuited by how the race was run and she looks open to improvement now stepped up in trip.

Time Tunnel (15/8) would look very solid here after a big run from a terrible draw at Killarney last time. Dermot Weld hasn’t had the best week though this one’s form has worked out and it doesn’t look a strong race here.

Justanotherbottle was second in this race last year and we think he has a massive chance of going one better at 8/1. He’s 3lbs lower than last year, has a much better jockey up (James Doyle) and looks to have gotten the ideal draw in nine. If he’s anywhere near the form he was in last year he should go very close – he looks one for the each-way double with Puds.
