Sunday Racing: Here’s 3 picks from the traders for a tasty trixie

Starts with Two Blondes and ends with Perfection. That can't be bad!

Naas Racing

14:25 Stratford – Two Blondes @ 5/2

I like the look of Two Blondes here for Donald McCain after an eye-catching run at Market Rasen on his hurdles debut back in June. He finished third that day, with What Will Be, who re-opposes here, two lengths in front of him in second, though I fancy the selection to turn that form around. He was held up that day off a slow pace and never really got into the race, and with that experience under his belt, I think he has a solid chance of turning around the form with What Will Be, which should be enough to win this.

2.35 Fairyhouse – Dedillon @ 7/1

This looks a particularly weak race and the selection would look amongst the least exposed, after a very good run at Dundalk on her debut back in October. She raced from well off the pace that day before making eye-catching progress late on, despite the race not being run to suit those held up. She wouldn’t need to improve much on that run to win this race and with the excellent Andrew Slattery taking off a free five pounds, I’d expect her to go very close to winning this.

15:10 Fairyhouse – Perfection @ 2/1

Not the strongest Group 3 here and I think Perfection could take advantage of that, for the in-form David O’Meara stable. She ran an excellent race last time in a hot running of the Wokingham, coming from further back than ideal to finish a running on sixth, in a race that has worked out well. She steps up to 7f from 6f here, which should be no issue, and I think she could be very difficult to beat.
