Our traders’ three to follow at Deauville and Ayr on Sunday

Our number crunchers fancy this trio!

13:35 Deauville – Far Above

Far Above is a horse I really like and I reckon he’s got a cracking chance of winning this listed race in France. He won a competitive Newmarket maiden on debut before being beaten by Jash at Newbury, though he was much too keen over 7f that day. They then dropped him to 6f at Windsor last time, where he bolted in and won by 6 lengths in a good time. I believe he could develop into a Group 1 sprinter by the end of the season, and if that’s to be the case, then he should be winning this race.

15:35 Ayr – Nibras Again

Nibras Again won a very competitive handicap at York last Saturday and he did in a fast time for the grade. Having only been given five pounds for that win, he looks well capable of going in again in this weaker race. He’s been steadily improving all season for Paul Midgely, who does so well with sprinters – having joined from Ismail Mohammed at the start of the season, and this looks a very good opportunity to continue his progress.

16:10 Ayr – Nicholas T

Nicholas T has shaped very well on his last three starts and looks ready to win off his current mark. On his most recent effort at Hamilton on Tuesday, he got no run at a crucial time, though he still ran on very well to go down by half a length to a progressive Mark Johnston horse Victory Command. He needs fast ground and a strong pace, which he looks likely to get here, and I believe he’ll take a lot of beating here.

Tips summary

15:35 Ayr: Nibras Again – 10/11
