There’s little doubt the Grand National is the biggest and most high-profile horse race in the UK each year, bringing thousands of spectators to Aintree and drawing in millions more on TV.
It’s also one of the most unpredictable, with a huge field of runners competing to last the four-mile-plus trip and take the £1million first-prize. Invariably, many of them fall victim to one of the race’s gigantic fences or deep ditches, which makes picking a winner a difficult – but far from impossible – task.
Here to help you make your picks is Paddy’s elite band of tipsters, pundits and brand ambassadors: Ruby Walsh, Matt Chapman, Mick Fitzgerald, Frank Hickey, Emmanuel Petit and Shane Lowry. Oh and Paddy himself. Each of them has given us their thoughts on the race, and we’ve compiled this information into a handy, downloadable, printable Cheat Sheet.
You can download it, print it and keep it in front of you ahead of the race. Or just click the link below and make your picks from there.
