It’s day two. Maybe you’re up, maybe you’re down, but hope still springs eternal – or for the next three days at least – as you look ahead to the next few days of quality racing.

The Champion Chase is the feature race and don’t blink as it’s usually over quicker than Liverpool’s challenge for the Premier League title.
Altior is one of the most popular horses in training and will win his 18th consecutive race if he strides to victory in what should be a race to savour.
But there’s plenty of intrigue on the undercard too where next year’s Gold Cup hopefuls are put through their paces in the RSA Chase and the English horses try to put an end to the Irish backstop in the Champion Bumper that ends the day.
