17:25 – Studio One At The Silken Thomas Irish EBF (C & G) Maiden

Cape Of Good Hope will be all the rage after his experience at Leopardstown behind Bold Approach last month. However, keep an eye on the market though for a move for Zander, these are some famous silks and Ger Lyons would dearly love to have a winner here for Juddmonte.

18:00 – Paddy Power Irish EBF Median Auction Race

It’s interesting that the shrewd operator Andy Slattery is using Ben Coen to take 7lbs off his horse Offline in this. That just gives him more of an edge over Dandys Ocean and Evasive Powers, whose team have reached for headgear after an ordinary run against Fairyland last time. It may pay to take a punt on Ger Lyons again, his filly Bailly is nicely bred and there are lots of winners in her pedigree with doubts over the rest.

18:35 – TRM Excellence In Equine Nutrition Maiden

Soffia is a warm order here after some good runs on really bad ground at the backend of last season. Her form is solid and sets a good standard in a weak looking race. Tabaahy, who is related to Penitent & Supplicant, is the obvious one to be afraid of. My marginal preference is for Soffia with her experience though. Noirvento could be an interesting one too, so if the market is fluttering, keep your eyes peeled!

19:10 – TRI Equestrian Superstore Handicap

This sprint handicap could be a trap and for that reason I am only going for a little value bet here. Emadee runs for Andy Slattery and with Ben Coen taking 7lbs off this horses back too. I just feel he is a cracking each-way bet because he does not have much to find on a run at Dundalk with the fav Blue Uluru.

19:45 – TRM Ballyogan Stakes

One Master is your fav here and it’s intriguing that James Doyle came over to ride her. William Haggas is a good operator and has found a nice opportunity for this filly. Sorelle Delle Rose is very tempting though, as she is unlucky to not to be unbeaten this season. I am taking a punt on her to upset the favourite in this one.

20:20 – TRM’s ‘Kurasyn 360x’ Handicap

None of the experienced runners are any great shakes and I’m going with one of the handicap debutants City Ballerina who has plenty of appeal on the back of her run at Fairyhouse behind Athena. Paperback Writer could well improve here too. He has been getting the hang of it. So, don’t be surprised if he gets support in the betting. I’m not for turning on City Ballerina.

20:55 – TRM’s Calphormin Irish EBF Fillies Maiden

There’s a lovely fillies maiden to end the evening. Tissiak sets a really good standard here and if City Ballerina wins the handicap I’ll lob it all onto this filly. She finished with a rattle at Gowran Park and could be hard to beat. Lure of the Sea is a really interesting newcomer for the Dermot Weld yard, so as ever a market check is advised.
