14:15 Ascot: We’re quite keen on the favourite Thundering Blue here, who was eyecatching on his last start and steps up to 1m4f for the first time, a trip that could well improve him. At bigger prices, we like Fearsome who looks a decent EW bet at 14/1.

14:50 Ascot: We’re very keen on favourite Barsanti to take this one. It’s more a function of being negative on some of the others though, with Mirage Dancer and Salouen not certain to show their best on seasonal debuts.

15:25 Ascot: Not the greatest race this, although we like Urban Fox who’s having her debut for William Haggas here and she could be well treated off a mark of 97. The 4/1 gamble looks fair, considering she has group entries for later in the season.

16:00 Ascot (Victoria Cup):  This is a wide open handicap and our tips against the field are Silent Attack (13/2), Charles Molson (18/1). We’re also quite positive on the favourite Keyser Soze, who could have plenty in hand after his run in the Spring Cup at Newbury.

13:55 Lingfield: The one we like against the favourite here is Cecchini for the in-form Ralph Beckett stable. She created a very favourable impression on debut and the stable have tended to target this race with their best filly, which can’t be said for how Aidan O Brien treats the race.

14:30 Lingfield: Favourite Kew Gardens looks very solid here and is very hard to oppose. We also like Knight To Behold for Harry Dunlop who is quite well bred and likely to improve a lot for this trip.

15:40 Lingfield: Vibes seem very strong about One Master and she looks a good bet at 5/2. We also quite like Tomyris, while we don’t fancy Hunaina, Tajaanus and Hikmaa at current prices.

15:10 Haydock: We really like Silver Streak who ticks all the boxes for this race. His trainer has won three of the last five renewals of this race with similar types. He would look very well treated off a mark of 132, particularly when looking at his excellent effort in a strong renewal of the Ladbroke hurdle in December.
