There's still races to be be won and prize money to be pocketed, but Willie Mullins hit the competiion for six on Tuesday, so we're paying out early....

Yesterday’s stunning six for Mullins has knocked the stuffing out of the rest in the trainers standings.

The winners started with Pravalaguna in the second race of the day and just kept coming.

Grade One wins for Next Destination and Bellshill set the stage for Tornado Flyer, Patrick Park and Colreevy to end an unforgettable day.

After such a spectacular day it only seems right that we pay out on the Carlow conjurer Mullins winning the Irish Jumps Trainers’ Championship, even though his lead over Meath magician Gordon Elliott – who led by over €400,000 at the start of the day – is only €48,162.

With two days of the season at Punchestown left to go, a lot could still happen to turn that around.

But we believe that Willie has been in ferocious form this week, including the sensational sextet at Punchestown on Wednesday, so we’ve decided to reward his believers early ahead of Saturday’s official coronation.
