13.50 – Back [email protected] 4/1
Acdc might upset Sue and Harvey Smiths chance of winning the race they sponsor with a disappointing turnout of only four runners. On a line through Angus Milan Acdc has the beating of Just Georgie and Hills of Dubai. It doesn’t always work like that but you know this horse likes the course as he beat a hotspot here when winning his novice chase.
14.25 – Back Taxmeifyoucan @ 5/2
Taxmeifyoucan is a smart flat horse and is probably unlucky not to be unbeaten after his unseat at Hexham. He was a ready winner last time and could be smart at this game. Gassin Golf has another big one in him and now the trainers horses are back in form too.
15.00 – Back Seldom Inn @ 10/1
Yala Enki won this last year off a mark 6lbs lower and has won nicely at Haydock this year. He ran a belter at Cheltenham and is a worthy favourite. The horse who was second last year is the one I like – Seldom Inn. He is 12lbs better off for 7lengths and could be the value here on ground he likes.
15.35 – Back Kris Spin 13/2
Donnas Diamond is favourite here on the back of a great run in the stayers hurdle. A decent winner at Haydock beating Agrapart, and if his festival exertions haven’t bottomed him, he’ll be tough to beat. However I really like another horse of Kerry Lee’s, Kris Spin. This horse won nicely at Fontwell, and likes the Scottish air as he showed when winning at Ayr in November. Eminent Poet is another danger on ground that he loves but it’s Kris Spin for me here.
Kempton
14.05 – Back A Momentofmadness @ 11/4
Last year’s winner A Momentofmadness is an apt fancy for this after what’s happened with Conor McGregor this week! This horse should come on for his first run and will be strongly fancied to turn the tables on Tomily on 5lbs better terms. Keep an eye on the market for a move for Jumira Bridge as well.
14.40 – Back Topics @ 7/2
Sprinters on show here and Tropics is a real old favourite. If they allow Robert Winston to go steady up the front on this horse he will take some passing. Ravens Lady is one to be on side with as I think she is a cracking each way bet. Twice a winner at Newmarket last year, I think she may well be better at this shorter trip.
15.15 – Back Hunaina @ 9/2
The French trainers won three of the races at Lingfield recently and Hunaina is one that could be another in the bag for the French. Impressive at Chantilly recently she has a fitness edge over Smart Call and that may just edge it her way.
