Jason Weaver: This 10/1 chance could be Music to our ears at Kempton tonight

Adam Kirby's been in the sauna so take the hint says the Weaver Shark in his regular Friday hunt for all weather winners

Jason Weaver

Easy Boy, Dundalk, 6.30pm

Only 1 from 11 on the sand but has been knocking loudly on the door of late. It’s not very often top jock Pat Smullen doesn’t get a clear run but it just just didn’t happen for him last time out on this lad.

He lost his chance when he was slowly away  and looks well enough handicapped off 52 tonight. There’s some pace in here to run at his draw in stall eight should be fine.

Skellig Michael, Kempton, 6,45pm

Didn’t set the world alight early on in three tries but posted a much better effort here on handicap debut when beaten only two and a half lenghts here last October. Ben Haslam’s charge was badly need of his return at Newcastle on his return and was beaten miles.

Surprisingly, he’s been dropped 3lbs for that and so slots in at the top of this 46-55 handicap. It’s a low grade race and the trainer has done his job for a big effort tonight.

Darma, Kempton, 7.15pm

Loves to front-run and has a decent record returning after a layoff. The Martyn Meade team are starting to run well again and had their first winner from only four runners yesterday at Chelmsford.

An 81 rating might look a touch high in the handicap but they call on a hot 5lb claiming rider in Holly Doyle. They are well drawn to attack this and will take some pegging back.

Mister Music, Wolverhampton, 7.45pm

It’s not often you find an eight-year-old running on the dirt for just the fourth time but this lad’s rating has dropped from 100 to 80.

Adam Kirby is flying right now and he’s riding at very close to his minimum weight here. Take the hint as he wouldn’t be in the sauna if this lad didn’t have a massive chance.

 Your Pal Tal, Dundalk, 8pm

I put him up last time but he was beaten nine lenghts. I know it’s hardly inspiring but if you look at the replay you’ll see he wasn’t given a hard time of it. I can’t believe he’s been dropped again to a rating of 54! He’s thrown in!

The market will guide us but he must win very soon and is a good each-way price so hopefully it is tonight.

Palavicini Run, Dundalk, 8.30pm

Not sure what’s been going on with her lately as she’s been going as far as the extended 1m 2f. She’s dropped down to 6f tonight and that could prove just the job with the blinkers on.

On top of that she’s dropped 12lbs in her last eight races and the Levins team are overdue a winner.

What do you think?
