Celebrity Big Brother kicked off this week, and while our top team of racing pundits wouldn’t know Mafia member Renee Graziano or Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson, they certainly do know their gee-gees.
Forget the Diary Room, it’s strictly about course, distance and how much rain we might get for these form book gurus. Channel 4’s Mick Fitzgerald, the boss Paddy Power, horse whisperer Turftalk Tom and our very own mysterious PP Trader called Brendan, combine to make up our crack team of racing experts.
A 7/2 double for Turftalk Tom & Brendan saw them top the table of not bad, but not really great either, tipping last weekend.
But with the the curtain coming down on Goodwood – and at least one of the tipsters’ career prospects – if they don’t get the finger out, it’s all to play for on Saturday.
While tipping the odds-on Epsom Oaks winner Minding (3.10pm) is stating the bleedin’ obvious, there’s a lot of love for Toofi getting his revenge after being pipped in the 6f Stewards Cup last year.
