Winner, winner, chicken dinner

A winner in every race bar the Temple Stakes for Team Tipster last weekend as Moonrise Landing (100/30), Mount Logan (2/1), Garcia (7/2f) and Awtaad (9/2) all did the business for one or more of the panel. What’s that you hear? Just the sweet sound of our tipping team recovering from a week of champagne and caviar. OK that might be a slight exaggeration, but a winner’s a winner in anyone’s language and our tipping team are finding some form.

At The Races’ very own Matt Chapman, horse whisperer Turftalk Tom, a mysterious, mythical Paddy Power Trader and the big dog himself, Paddy Power, make up our crack team of racing pundits, here to hopefully deliver you some Saturday success.

There isn’t quite universal agreement in any of the races on Saturday, but there are a number of well-fancied runners.

In the opening race at Haydock, Journey gets the nod from 75 per cent of our team while the 3.10pm at the same track has caused a split decision between Breton Rock and Home Of The Brave. Turftalk Tom and Paddy have been comparing notes again in the 3.25pm at Chester with both gentlemen plumping for Trendsetter, while in the 3.45pm at Haydock everyone bar the boss has landed on Gifted Master – and all for different reasons.

The sun is shining, we’ve got ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ stuck in our heads, and we’re hoping for some Saturday winners. What could be better?
