Let Paddy get the drinks in on Friday night, courtesy of our top TV tipsters
It’s Ladies Day at Aintree on Friday. and while our team of racing pundits might not be too familiar with accessorising their outfit or slapping on some fake tan (bar Matt Chapman), they certainly know their gee-gees.
Top jockey and two-time Grand National winner Ruby Walsh, the boss Paddy Power, racing pundit MC Yeeehaaa Matt Chapman and our very own PP Racing Trader from the second floor square off in an attempt to pick the most winners on Friday afternoon. There’s nothing that tastes sweeter than the first pint on a Friday night – particularly when Paddy is paying!
Unsurprisingly nobody is brave enough to oppose the heavy odds-on favourite Vautour in the 3.25pm, but three of our four tipsters fancy an upset in the 2.15pm. Ruby Walsh is sticking firm with Limini, but Matt, Paddy and our trader all fancy Buveur D’Air to spring a surprise and upset the odds in the first race on C4.
Elsewhere there’s no agreement whatsoever in the tricky race at 2.50pm, but Bishops Road gets a couple of nods later on in the afternoon from our trader and the overlord Paddy.
There’s more forgiveness in the 4.40pm than in the confession box, but Duke Des Champs has got a couple of nods and might make the frame.
