The headstrong Peace and Co leads the charge for these financiers

Peace and Co

These guys have an awesome arsenal

With three Festival winners to date, can they add to the haul in the Triumph Hurdle or Mares?

Cheltenham Festival Winners: 3

Financiers Munir & Souede burst onto the British National Hunt scene a few years ago and have gradually being building their arsenal that this year should include JLT Novice Chase favourite Bristol De Mai, recent Ascot winner Vyta Du Roc and Arkle hope – despite his Warwick setback L’Ami Serge.

Munir has already won the Triumph Hurdle twice including a 1-2 in last year’s contest when Peace And Co beat Top Notch.

Fixe Le Kap (beaten at long odds-on at Haydock, Sceau Royal and the Willie Mullins-trained Footpad could all represent them in Triumph Hurdle – although one may divert to the Fred Winter Handicap.

The headstrong Peace and Co may go for gold in the Champion Hurdle despite a couple of defeats while Top Notch’s recent win at Kelso puts him in the frame also now that the race has opened up.

With Daryl Jacob booked to ride their leading fancies, Ma Filleule could try to go one better in the Ryanair Chase than when runner-up 12 months ago and Grade 1 winning chaser, Gitane Du Berlais, may yet be a contender for the Mares Hurdle.
