Teletubbies supremo John Hales counts Al Ferof (Ryanair) and Aux Ptits Soins (World Hurdle) among his leading candidates after the likes of Champion chasers One Man and Azertyuiop delivered in the Champion Chase.
Both are previous Festival winners (the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and Coral Cup respectively) while Politologue and Ibis Du Rheu are two leading contenders if they head down the handicap route.
The Paul Nicholls-trained Politologue is ante-post favourite for the Coral Cup while recent Sandown third Unioniste has the Grand National as his Spring target but could try to follow in the hoofprints of the owner’s 2012 National winner Neptune Collonges and prep at the Festival before heading to Aintree.
