Ruby Walsh’s rides at Naas could land you a tasty 10/1 treble this Sunday

1.50 – Maiden Hurdle
Babbling Stream would want to improve on his last run to have a chance here. He’s won a bumper, placed i na few others and he ran out in Punchestown.

Good Tradition will have a chance as will King Of Aragon. There’s eighteen runners and there isn’t really a star amongst them. It’s the second week of February so winning a maiden hurdle now probably isn’t a Cheltenham horse anyway. It’s a competitive race and hopefull Babbling Stream will go close.

2.20 – Mares Chase
Gitane Du Berlais has been disappointing this season. That said her best run was over hurdles in Carlisle when she was second. She was bitterly disappointing in Sandown the other day and I suppose you could say she was disappointing when she was third in Punchestown as well. On rating she should have won that day. She seems in good form, two miles will suit her, She likes to get on with her job so this is a good track for her and hopefully she gets her head in front today.

2.50 – Maiden Hurdle
My ride, Haymount, has Fairly Legal, Call It Magic and Tuzo to beat. Although there are only twelve runners for me this is more competitive than the first. I was third on Call It Magic in Leopardstown in a decent Maiden Hurdle. Fairly Legal was second in his last start and Tuzo has won a bumper. Haymount is in good form but he’s going to need the ground to be dry.
