13:00 Andreas Vesalius

ANDREAS VESALIUS may be able to turn the Navan form around with Celtic Times and, if he does, he would rate the one to beat. Silver Surfer is a danger, while better can be expected from Albion Square who had an excuse for his Curragh defeat.

New to Paddy Power?

13:35 Mi Esperanza

She may be an infrequent winner, but MI ESPERANZA has put a couple of promising runs together already this season and deserves to add to the sole success of her career. Hodd’s Girl made big strides at Dundalk over the winter and is interesting on turf, while Pretty Boy Floyd and Pretty Smart have solid each-way claims.

14:05 Kirsapp

The market will be significant, but KIRSAPP shaped with promise on debut at the Curragh and is a likely future winner. Of the newcomers, Karakoul, Pimlico and Pinar Del Rio stick out while Freedom Of Speech has the experience.

14:40 Silence Please

Hard to get away from SILENCE PLEASE (NAP), who should be hard to beat if running anywhere near her best. Insinuendo is lightly-raced for her age and her Tipperary effort proved she belongs in this company.

Of the three-year-olds, there is a bit of forgiveness needed for fans of Willow and Emaniya, but both fillies are likely much better than what they showed on their respective last starts.

15:15 Benaud

Baton Rouge should be the one to beat, but will need to be progressive if he is to give weight away to a decent bunch of three-year-olds – namely the Joseph O’Brien-trained pair, BENAUD and Ratib.

Preference is for the former. He looked a potentially smart middle-distance horse when winning last term and is very interesting on his return. Catena Zapata has a chance dropping in grade, while New Reality is respected off the back of his maiden win at Tipperary.

15:50 Golden Lyric

Having finished second to decent colts on her last two visits to Dundalk, GOLDEN LYRIC is back against her own sex here and this drop in trip could suit. Montego Bay kept on well over this trip in a Curragh handicap on Monday and rates a big danger, while Elanora and Shahaada have claims on their best form.

16:25 Notoriously Risky

Fozzy Stack has a strong hand here with Linda Barrett and NOTORIOUSLY RISKY, the latter shading it on account of her good course and distance form. Ferrybank is one who could well at an each-way price.

17:00 Fastar

Top-weight FASTAR was denied a clear run at a crucial stage when finishing a clear second over course and distance in March and off just 1lb higher is taken to continue the good recent run of Ger O’Leary’s yard.

Blairmayne is a consistent performer at this level and runs well fresh so has to be respected. But,  Midnight Fire could prove the main danger, having run a cracker at Cork on Friday when racing on the unfavoured side of the track and who should appreciate this stiff 6 furlongs.
