Newmarket 13:50 – Bright Melody

Charlie Appleby is flying at the moment, running at about 46 per cent, which is phenomenal. Bright Melody won a handicap in Meydan last time and looks decent.

New to Paddy Power?

Goodwood 14:05 – Maamora

Maamora won a Group 3 last time at Sandown, so this might be easier. He’s a frontrunner who will be hard to peg back.

Newmarket 14:25 – Came From The Dark

Came From The Dark just beat Garrus last time after missing the break, which suggests to me that he’s a bit better than that.

Saffron Beach Adam Kirby Newmarket October 9, 2020

Thirsk 14:40 – Hartswood

Good or better ground is the key for Hartswood. He’s run once before at Thirsk when winning a novice race.

Newmarket 15:00 – Al Zaraqaan

Al Zaraqaan has won four on the trot and the last three were at short odds. He stepped up to 1m4f a couple of runs ago and seemed to love it.

Newmarket 15:40 – Mutasaabeq

It’s hard to know just how good Mutasaabeq is after two easy wins but he’s quite possibly top drawer so ue has a massive chance at a decent price.
