With the unexposed Chipstead drawn widest, this might be best left to AL FAHDAA. She beat a very useful stablemate at Kempton in September and a subsequent defeat in a heavy-ground Listed event doesn’t require much excusing. She could well have more to come this season.

Wait For The Lord is still capable of better and needs taking seriously, while Lottie Marie has done well for this stable and is another for the shortlist. A wind operation and weaker opposition than he’s accustomed to should see True Destiny make a bold bid to end his fallow spell, while Charlie Arthur is still improving but has to prove his stamina. GENTLEMAN AT ARMS is capable of better after just seven starts and he might be the answer on his reappearance.

Spanish Kiss, Where’s Tom and Party Island all need serious consideration but there could well be further improvement in RAVENS ARK (nap) this year and he can make a winning reappearance.
