13:25 Contarelli Chapel

Freedom Of Speech was fancied on debut, but ran green behind her stablemate. Although she has the advantage of a run under her belt, there are some smartly bred newcomers who may well improve past her.

Not least CONTARELLI CHAPEL, who is a half-sister to Fancy Blue. All three of Aidan O’Brien’s juveniles have won this season and she may bolster the record. Simply Gorgeous and Juncture are other newcomers to watch.

New to Paddy Power?

13:55 Coill Avon

A good juvenile last year, COILL AVON could make an immediate impact switched to handicaps at the main expense of seasoned sprinters Ecclesiastical, Zig Zag Zyggy and Not Now Zeb. Sounds Of Springs is also interesting.

14:25 Make A Challenge

Having blown away the cobwebs at Cork recently, MAKE A CHALLENGE can strip fitter today and make his class count, though would ideally prefer more cut in the ground. His conqueror last time, Laugh A Minute is respected, as are Urban Beat and Chief Little Hawk.

14:55 Grid

Handicap debutant HMS Seahorse had the form of his Leopardstown second boosted by the third winning at Limerick on Saturday, while Skilled Warrior and Eylara are others who should be capable of making a splash at this level. However, GRID could be open to plenty of improvement at three and his maiden form from last year has a solid look to it, making him a bet off a mark of 81.

15:30 Blue Raven

A typically wide-open low-grade handicap. Blankiedoodie is likely to go well, but his draw makes it difficult, a similar scenario for Little Camacho, Hidden Spark and Cracking Name. A chance is taken on the better-drawn maiden BLUE RAVEN, who shaped better than the result indicated at Dundalk last time over 10.5 furlongs behind two improvers. Accessory and the well-drawn Muraahin are also considered. Dunum needs a market check.

16:00 Coill Na Sionainne

COILL NA SIONAINNE ran well on her stable debut at Leopardstown and a reproduction should see her go close. Eloy D’Amerval could be interesting off his mark, but it’s a wide open race in which a case can be made for most.

16:35 Flora

It is difficult to get away from the persuasive credentials of the impeccably bred FLORA and she is selected to score on debut. Her stablemate Loyal is also respected, while The Blue Brilliant, Umneyaat and Party House are decent prospects too.

17:10 Sir William Bruce

Having been narrowly denied on his second start last season, SIR WILLIAM BRUCE (NAP) should be capable of getting off the mark today. Torino can improve plenty from his debut and go well, as can Dublin Journal and Moktaffy. Port Philip needs a market check on debut.
