13:00 – Tinnahalla

It’s hard to get away from TINNAHALLA, who was a good fourth in a hot juvenile handicap at Ascot last time and should prove a class apart. Songo is capable of better than he has shown over hurdles and could be the biggest threat. Willy Nilly might be the best of the remainder.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

13:35 – Baby King

The one that appeals most is Tom George’s BABY KING, who travelled well for a long way when a creditable third at Southwell last month and remains well treated off 11lb lower than for his win in this race in 2019. The main threat could come from Hatcher, who has a good overall strike-rate and is well handicapped if he can bounce back on his second run after a break.

14:10 – Hotter Than Hell

The last-time-out winners Precious Eleanor and Une De La Seniere are both strongly respected, while Dan Skelton’s Getaway Mag is on a dangerous mark if she can revive on her switch back to hurdling. However, the vote goes to HOTTER THAN HELL, who returned from a break with a good third behind an improver in a Class 2 at Haydock and could be a major force on her step back up in trip.

14:40 – Tinkers Hill Tommy

Most of these need a revival and a big one at that. The glaring exception is TINKERS HILL TOMMY (nap), who is on a hat-trick, so he may be left with another good opportunity. Bbold looks his chief rival.

15:15 – Winged Isle

Last-time-out winners WINGED ISLE and Mount Oliver are the only ones to have advanced their case in recent starts, with the former having done so over hurdles and in a style suggesting he had more in the tank. Others, including Fubar and If Karl’s Berg Did, could conceivably rediscover some form, though.

15:50 – Call Me Vic

Favorito Buck’s has leading form claims on his hunter chase debut but has been pulled up on two of his last three starts so is far from bombproof. Dieu Vivant may prefer slower ground and therefore preference is for the 14yo CALL ME VIC, who won a handicap at Sandown last time out in December. Garde Ville and Bletchley Castle have something to find with the other three but arrive in good form so can’t be ruled out.

16:20 – Our Jester

Hughie Morrison and owners Pangfield Racing V have done very well with Urban Artist and her half-brother OUR JESTER should also have a bright future judged on his debut second at Newbury last month. He’s taken to go one better with Huntingdon runner-up Braganza Bay perhaps the main danger, ahead of the consistent Gregor.
