14:15 – Never Mistabeat

1m 4f handicap with plenty of previous course and distance winning form on offer and I am siding with Never Mistabeat, who has managed to win two of his last three starts so he’s really running well. The step up in trip should suit as has been staying really well over slightly shorter distance so should relish the trip.

Of his rivals Conor Hogan who has been placed on two of his last three starts should also relish the step up in trip. He was not beaten far the last day but I just feel that with Never Mistabeat in such tremendous form I expect him to be bang there at the finish.

New to Paddy Power?

15:25 – Boasty

1m 2f handicap with not much winning form on offer apart from Pineapple Express for Andrew Slattery, who won at Gowran Park only a few days ago. He’s making a quick reappearance and will be hoping he can run another big race but I fancy Boasty to go well, who completely bombed at the Curragh when last seen. However, he has some placed efforts here prior and I just think with a first time visor on I expect it could certainly bring out some improvement and should go well at a decent price.

16:30 – Is That Love

1m apprentice handicap where jockey bookings will be crucial in a race of this nature. Going off stats the jockey Cian Redmond is the most inform jockey with a 14 per cent strike rate in the last two weeks and for me he is also on the best horse in the race which is Is That Love.

He is flying at the moment winning its last two starts at Dundalk before a very disappointing outing at Cork the last day. But back here at Dundalk where he goes well, has ducked and hung when hitting the front on the two occasions which can be a concern but this gelding still manages to get the job done.

Also the trainer Adrian McGuiness’ horses are going well with an 18 per cent strike rate in the last two weeks, so with both trainer and jockey in form and the horse returning to his favourite tracks I expect this gelding to run a big race.

17:00 – Jeroboam

The finale on the card over 7f and I am siding with the Aidan O’Brien trained Jeroboam who has three starts so far in his career, 6th, 2nd and 4th on the last day. It hasn’t seen a racetrack in over 155 days but is dropping back in trip which should suit and the fact Aidan O’Brien is persisting with this colt would suggest it has plenty to offer and should be well capable in a race of this nature and I expect him to run a big race and finally get his head in front.

Dundalk betting tips summary:
