Handicap debutante Ronde De Nuit makes plenty of appeal, as does the Pasley, in the same ownership, now that a tongue-strap is back. They look leading contenders but so does FLOY JOY, who has shown plenty of potential in novice races.

It is a shade frustrating that DORKING LAD has yet to win but this offers him a golden opportunity to put that right. Perhaps Sixty Dollars More will prove the biggest threat, ahead of Goudhurst Star.

Our Surprise showed enough at Exeter last month to suggest he will be the major threat to FOREVER DES LONG, who is taken to score at the seventh attempt over hurdles. The Worthy Brat is also feared.
16:15 Old Harry Rocks
Both of the Philip Hobbs-trained pair are contenders while Kapitaliste will go close if transferring his recent hurdling form. OLD HARRY ROCKS should enjoy a return to good ground and this track with cheekpieces also a plus. He is taken to beat Krujers Girl.
16:52 Aimee De Sivola
Fairly useful mare AIMEE DE SIVOLA, who beat all bar a progressive sort last time, is taken to defy top weight. Winter Getaway is second on the shortlist, ahead of Glentrool and Mr Clarkson. Market support for Flying Verse should be noted.

C&D winners GAME LINE (nap) and Calin Du Brizais are the top two on the shortlist, with Golden Poet third choice. Game Line has solid claims on recent form and he gets the vote.
