17:30 Supercontango

With Campachoochoo having something to prove after her recent Southwell return, this looks an opportunity for SUPERCONTANGO to maintain her progress and follow up last month’s Lingfield win. Market support for the reappearing Outcast would be significant.

18:00 Brute Force

Despite being a 5yo, the lightly raced BRUTE FORCE appears to be improving and his latest second at Kempton looks even better now with the winner going on to complete a hat-trick. He shapes as though he will stay this longer trip and therefore gets the vote. Dreadnoughtus is another unexposed 5yo whose best effort came last time out and he is another to consider, alongside the 4yo fillies Casavola and Stevie McKeane.

18:30 Sir Rodneyredblood

A warm race of its type with several runners of interest. The class-dropping Excellent George is feared, with Sir Hector, Catheadans Fury and Kylla Looks firmly in the reckoning. SIR RODNEYREDBLOOD’s latest Southwell win was a good effort though and he may able to defy a small rise in the weights.

19:00 Portugueseprincess

Lady Quickstep and Come On Girl should be suited by the return to this trip, while Silent Queen has the form to figure if able to cope with this new surface, but the choice is PORTUGUESEPRINCESS whose third in a Lingfield claimer earlier in the month has worked out well.

19:30 Epic Express

The leading form contenders are Discomatic and Desert Marathon who both have solid records and ran near their best over 1m last time. They are respected but preference is for EPIC EXPRESS, who shaped with plenty of promise when a market springer at Lingfield last month and should be much more streetwise on this second start. The most interesting newcomer is Serenhill, who has several Group/Listed winners on the dam’s side of her good pedigree.

20:00 Recuerdame

The one that appeals most is RECUERDAME, who is unexposed at this trip and showed plenty of determination when beating Brass Clankers over C&D three weeks ago. The main danger is Glint Of An Eye, who has finished well to snatch third on her last two starts and should appreciate this step back up to 1m2f. Dual C&D winner Engrave looks interesting on her drop back in trip, while another who could be in the mix is Dream Point.

20:30 Headley George (NAP)

It looks best to concentrate on the three who met in a similar event over C&D this month. Blairlogie and Zuckerberg dead-heated for third, just half a length behind HEADLEY GEORGE (nap), but the last named is taken to beat them again as he went even closer to winning next time and remains relatively unexposed after seven starts.
