13:50 Kempton: Coole Cody
I fancy Coole Cody here. I thought his Paddy Power Gold Cup effort was brilliant. Tom O’Brien sent him forward on that occasion and his jumping was low, slick and fast. I know he’s a 10 year old but with the experience he has, he could really put these novices to the sword. In a four-runner field, I think he’ll take a bit of following, so my money’s going on Coole Cody.
14:05 Lingfield: Moss Gill
There’s nothing to go against Moss Gill here. He’s drawn to start four here but I doubt that will be a problem. Moss Gill for me.
14:25 Kempton: Paso Doble
Honneur Dajonc impressed at Kempton in December but Tritonic is the talking horse here. That said, Paul Nicholls did produce Zarkandar to win the Adonis before he won the Triumph. He runs Paso Doble here. He’s rated a good bit lower than Tritonic but he could be of interest. He’s had plenty of runs at 1m 1/2. Paso Doble against the favourite for me.
14:40 Lingfield: Felix
I’m going to go for Felix, ridden by Hollie Doyle. It’s a big addition for ITV to have Doyle and Ryan Moore riding on Saturday. Moore rides Johnny Drama, who is the highest rated horse in this one but I’m going for Felix. He’s fit and well and finished second on his last start here at Lingfield in February behind Bangkok. He’s got the better of Bangkok before that too so I think Felix is a good shout.

15:00 Kempton: Atholl Street
Going right handed will be a big advantage for Cape Gentleman but I’m going for Atholl Street. He was really impressive on both of his starts at Taunton. He beat Heart Of A Lion by a long way on his last start. It’s a big step up but he looked like a decent horse to me. Atholl Street at 2m is a decent bet.
15:15 Newcastle: The Dutchman
I’m going for a horse that’s not getting any younger and probably high in the weights in The Dutchman. I thought he was running well before he fell at Wetherby last December. Sean Quinlan also takes over to ride him at Newcastle. I know he’s 11 but he usually stays and he’s a good jumper so I’m going for The Dutchman.

15:35 Kempton: Clondaw Castle
I’m going to go with Clondaw Castle, who’s stepping up the trip. He was second to Nuts Well at Aintree and he then beat Gala Ball at Newbury. He also finished second to Master Tommytucker at Kempton on his last start and we saw Master Tommytucker impress last weekend. Clondaw Castle steps up to 3m for the first time and I fancy him and Tom George here.
