17:45: Mack The Knife (NAP)
Mack The Knife has really found his feet this winter, showing much improved form since being stepped up to middle distances the last twice, and he again looks the one to beat under a double penalty.
He was well placed to follow up at Kempton last time, but he again went with plenty of zest and went clear from two furlongs out, closed down near the finish but well on top in the closing stages.
The question mark here is the switch to fibresand, but Mack The Knife is a strong galloper, who likes to race prominently, and represents a yard that do well with their runners here, so everything points to another big run.

18:45: Requinto Dawn (NB)
Requinto Dawn continues to thrive, proving better than ever to record his fourth success of the winter over this course and distance last week, beating the reopposing Excessable by four and a quarter lengths.
Requinto Dawn seemingly benefited from a short break to record his most emphatic win, making all and drawing clear of his rivals from the furlong pole. He is ahead of his mark turned out under a 5 lb penalty and will take some stopping if arriving in the same form.

19:15: Mister Freeze (E/W)
Mister Freeze’s last win came over this course and distance in January last year and, though he hasn’t got his head in front since, he has finished runner-up on both of his starts since the turn of the year and once again holds solid place claims.
He was beaten only by a class dropper who landed a gamble on his latest start earlier this month and has to be high on the shortlist racing from the same mark.
