UPDATE: Racing at Clonmel has been abandoned following an inspection on Thursday morning.
13:45 Humble Glory
Humble Glory was going to finish behind Erins Benefit at Tramore back in December but since then she’s progressed to win a bumper and chase home the useful Lady Breffni in a maiden hurdle last time. The trip would have to be a worry for Manito Park on this testing ground so Humble Glory may improve again to take this opener.

16:05 Westy Fox
Westy Fox comes into this off the back of winning a similar race at Fairyhouse last time. He’s been put up 7lbs by the handicapper, but this looks a good bit of placing and the booking of Jamie Codd is another positive. Damut may be his main danger but hasn’t ran over hurdles since 2018 and is now a 13yo so the improver Westy Fox looks a very solid option all things considered.

17:05 Encore Lui
I’m hoping the step up in trip sees Encore Lui get back to the better form he showed over hurdles a couple of seasons ago. This will only be his 5th start over fences and only his second handicap so you’d be hoping there’ll be plenty more to come. This team of Liz Doyle & Mark Walsh teamed up with a similar type to win at Down Royal recently and Encore Lui could be another one to continue their good run of form.
