12:35 Captain Kangaroo

Bridge Street is a potentially interesting newcomer, but this is likely a match between the two form horses. Hurricane Cliff will get his turn, but he might not be able to see off CAPTAIN KANGAROO – who is gradually improving and getting closer to winning his maiden.

13:05 Gentleman De Mee

This lacks depth, and the Willie Mullins-trained French import GENTLEMAN DE MEE can defy a long absence to beat Don Diablo. If Dreamingandhoping can recapture her bumper form she might trouble the two geldings.

13:40 Elimay

Shattered Love has a solid chance back in mares company and Yukon Lil has some very handy allowances if she can come back to form. But, while the drop back in trip might not be ideal, if ELIMAY can reproduce her second to Allaho at Thurles last month, she is likely to have too much for these.

14:15 Drumacoo

Not many come into this race in peak form. One that does is R’evelyn Pleasure who will go close on the form of his recent second at Thurles.

The consistent Lean Araig and handicap debutante Sovereign Gold can go close, but lightly-raced veteran DRUMACOO did win a handicap hurdle this season and only faded very late in a Grade B at Navan subsequently. He still has plenty of life left in him and off a slightly better chase mark he can go close.

14:50 Sideshift

Gordon Elliott has several top juveniles in his care and may take this with the twice-placed SIDESHIFT who gets 4lbs from the winners. There is nothing to choose between Autumn Evening and Druid’s Altar on Fairyhouse running.

15:25 Djasek

A race of this standard should be within the range of DJASEK following an improved effort when second at Fairyhouse last time. The form of the Fairyhouse race, in which Dont Go Yet was second, reads well enough to give him a serious chance.

I Don’t Get It comes into the reckoning on the basis of his penultimate start. Dunadrum has recently shown improvement and Royal Rhythm is worth a look for a stable that had a winner earlier in the week.

16:00 Feelgood Island

The improving Petibonome and the infrequently seen You Raise Me Up are leading contenders here, as are the solid Gevrey among others, while market moves for Call Colman should be noted. The one to be on though could well be Down Royal scorer FEELGOOD ISLAND (nap), a decisive winner there in December who gave the impression that this step up in trip would suit.

16:35 Eyewitness

Very little to go on, and it is a toss-up between two who clashed here last month. EYEWITNESS may reverse form with Captain Conby who was the longer-priced of the pair then.

Back Yourself is an interesting runner, while riding arrangements are positive in regard to both Wild Hunt, a brother to a multiple Group 1 winner, and Maries Memories.
