12:35 Will Carver
An interesting opener with the vote in favour of newcomer WILL CARVER. He makes a good deal of appeal on paper and represents a leading outfit, so it would come as no surprise to see him sharp enough to play a lead role. Earth Company and Gala de Corton both shaped promisingly on their respective debuts and can also play a part.

13:05 Maroochi
MAROOCHI is from a good jumping family and shaped promisingly when runner-up in a junior bumper at Wetherby in January, losing ground home turn but noted keeping on to take second final 1f. She’s fancied to build on that and earns the vote. Sheila Nash unseated at the start on return but is respected on last season’s Ludlow second, whilst Ballybough Mary and Pop The Champagne can also feature.
13:35 Toutatis
The market should offer clues in this field of newcomers but TOUTATIS looks a speedy type on pedigree so could be the answer for respected connections. Chalgrove and Presenting Pete are others to note.

14:05 Time To Tinker
TIME TO TINKER left his hurdles debut well behind when runner-up at Taunton 6 weeks ago and has the best bumper form in the field, so has plenty going for him. Torn And Frayed brings the best hurdles form to the table so is on the shortlist, with Leylak and Chasamax other likely types.
14:40 Roque It
ROQUE IT is just 4 runs into his career but already has a bumper win on his CV and makes plenty of appeal having run well twice over hurdles for Paul Nicholls this season. Loughan and Quiana are a couple of the other likely contenders.
15:10 Elusive Belle
ELUSIVE BELLE is the class act and the one to beat for her top yard who had a couple of winners at the jumpers’ bumpers meeting here on Tuesday. Mega Yeats has a long absence to overcome but had made up into a fairly useful staying hurdler when last seen and can make her presence felt if ready to roll. Tomorrow Mystery and Vienna Court complete the shortlist.
15:40 Son Of Camas
Some useful hurdler/chasers line up here with Nicky Henderson holding a strong hand and his lightly-raced SON OF CAMAS is taken to emerge on top. Stable-companion Top Notch is better known for his chasing exploits but is still much respected in this sphere after a wind op, while Dr Sanderson is another who has shown a level of form over fences that puts him in the picture too.
16:15 Lust For Glory
Nicky Henderson’s upwardly-mobile mare LUST FOR GLORY was a taking winner over fences at Wetherby last month and is fancied to follow up here at the chief expense of Millers Bank, who also arrives on the back of a recent success over hurdles and has the scope for further progress. Talented Flat performer Torcello is another with the ability to have a say in a competitive bumper.
16:45 Before Midnight
The likeable BEFORE MIDNIGHT is bang in form and impressed in bumpers early in his career, so a bold showing is expected from him. Calva d’Auge and Flashing Glance are both of a similar merit in terms of ability but might not relish this test as much as the selection.
