1.10pm – Telmesomethinggirl (Each-Way)
Willie Mullins has six runners but TELMESOMETHINGGIRL could be well handicapped for Henry de Bromhead and worth an each-way play. She took on Concertista in a maiden hurdle 12 months ago and the pair galloped themselves into the ground, with neither getting over it for quite a while. Tellmesomethinggirl has come back this season and won three of her four starts, while I think she’ll handle the ground.
1.40pm – Saint Sam (Each-Way)
I don’t know why Quilixios hasn’t run since October. Youmdor has to bounce back from a bad fall the last day, while Busselton got the run of the race at Christmas and Ha Dor came from off the pace and had a clean run. SAINT SAM never got the rub of the green last time, was locked up down the inside every step of the way, and with different tactics can turn over the others.

2.10pm – Appreciate It/Master McShee (Each-Way)
APPRECIATE IT looks like the banker bet of the weekend for me. He jumps, stay and gallops. I think MASTER MCSHEE will be allowed to dictate the pace on Sunday, while Paul Townend will sit second in behind on Appreciate It. Master McShee will be in the right place all the way to get a good run for your money each-way.
2.40pm – Low Sun (Each-Way)
The heart says Pure Genius for my dad Ted, but as an each-way at a nice price I’ll go for LOW SUN. He’s only had two runs since he won the English Cesarewitch – he was a long way behind Flooring Porter On his first run back at Navan and then he was second behind Percy Warner the last day at Fairyhouse. He’s improved and he has a squeak at a fair price.

3.10pm – Monkfish
I fancy MONKFISH will be too good for this field, even if he’s dropping down in trip. He’s a big horse and he’s good with his feet. He’s not that wide a horse but he’s quite tall and he’s a colossal weight so he must have bones like cement blocks. He’s a very heavy horse for one that doesn’t carry a huge amount of muscle, but being big gives him an advantage carrying weight so carrying 11st 12lbs is no issue for Monkfish. I think he’s a better horse than Latest Exhibition and he will be difficult to beat.
3.40pm – Minella Indo
Paul Townend takes over on Melon but MINELLA INDO looks the one to beat. Kemboy is not a straightforward ride – he has his own way of jumping, and he doesn’t like to be told what to do. You have to just let him at it.
The small field suits most of the horses here, and particularly Minella Indo coming off a fall. There will be loads of room to jump, which will also suit Delta Work who is not a great jumper. They are changing tactics with Melon and it is easier to sit at the back of five horses than 15, while Kemboy likes to make the running.

4.10pm – Fan De Blues
Bapaume looks to have the strongest form and he has a squeak with 11st 4lbs so has an each-way chance. But the step up in trip may suit stablemate FAN DE BLUES and Brian Hayes.
4.40pm – Brandy Love
There are five runners in the Mares’ Bumper for Willie Mullins and Take Tea and BRANDY LOVE are the best of them. Patrick goes with Brandy Love and she’s my choice.
