1.10pm – Dysart Diamond
I think DYSART DIAMOND has a chance. This is an open race and a hard one to call, so that is the one I’m going for at the moment but I will most likely change my mind between now and then.
1.40pm – Quilixios
QUILIXIOS is the obvious one here, and anything that beats it will have to be pretty special. Gordon Elliott seems to have such a strong string of juveniles, although one of the worries is that we haven’t seen Quilixios since October. That’s quite a while but, presuming everything is okay with the horse, I think he will be hard to beat.

2.10pm – Appreciate It
I think APPRECIATE IT is a banker at Leopardstown and a banker at Cheltenham.
2.40pm – Unexpected Depth (Each-Way)
UNEXPECTED DEPTH is a very consistent horse for a stable that is coming into form. This is a horse that is never really out of the frame and a lot of this field will have other targets in mind. I would imagine Unexpected Depth will be all revved up and ready to go on Sunday, so will be there or thereabouts. But it’s such an open race so maybe just an each-way bet.

3.10pm – Monkfish/Asterion Forlonge
MONKFISH is going to be really hard to beat. Latest Exhibition is a horse of a lifetime and it must be such a pain to come up against a machine like Monkfish. Monkfish is the obvious one to win this race, and Latest Exhibition probably can’t beat him. Neither can Janidil or Fils Doudairies, but the only one that maybe could is ASTERION FORLONGE. He’s fallen twice, but would you throw something small on him? He ‘could’ beat Monkfish over this trip. Monkfish to win, but Asterion Forlonge just in case.
3.40pm – Minella Indo
This is a small but quality field, and MINELLA INDO has some making up to do after falling at Christmas. That was really disappointing because we were about to see how good he is. We still don’t really know, but he’s favourite.
I would be a bit negative on Kemboy and Melon because of the ground, while Delta Work is a danger. But I think Minella Indo will win, and win well, so will be favourite for the Gold Cup at Cheltenham.

4.10pm – Farclas
FARCLAS was third in the Paddy Power and is only seven so still quite young. He might be a little bit ahead of the handicapper, but I don’t have a huge amount of confidence because it’s such an open race.
4.40pm – Brandy Love
Willie Mullins has five of the first six in the betting, and we expect Patrick Mullins to choose BRANDY LOVE. We’ll go with whichever one he chooses.
