TARA KAY has been well held on both her starts over hurdles to date, finishing fifth and sixth at Musselburgh on both occasions, but she has put up some pretty respectable performances in bumpers including over this course and distance the last time she raced in this sphere.
Despite being sent off 28/1, Tara Kay held every chance as she took close order early in the straight, challenging over a furlong out, just going down by a length as the winner came from last to first. She is by no means the most consistent performer, but her best effort to date came under conditions similar to this, so she could be worth siding with each-way.
MANJAAM, who has hit the frame on three of his last four starts in hurdles, has been really thriving since being returned to the Flat this winter. He ended a long losing run with victory over this course and distance in December and, after producing a respectable effort under a penalty, he regained the winning thread returned to this venue last time, quickening clear before being eased late on, value for a fair bit extra on top of the winning margin.
He is clearly in good heart at present and is capable of going well again in this sort of form, with his turn of foot likely to prove decisive against this opposition.

A useful winning chaser, NOT THAT FUISSE was well supported ahead of his last appearance in a jumpers’ bumper at Lingfield last month and he was perhaps unfortunate not to have justified that support, travelling better than anything but left with just a bit too much ground to make up having come widest of all, whereas the winner saved ground on the inner.
That was his first run following a breathing operation and it looks to have done the trick, so with a little more luck in-running this time he is expected to be bang there.
