The maiden SHECANDOO is tentatively taken to open her account on this first attempt over 7f. Broughtons Flare is interesting back at this trip, while Axel Jacklin has possibilities returned to this C&D. Market support for the ex-French Shemsa should be heeded.

12:45 Rivas Rob Roy
Heptathlete could easily build on her Newcastle win, Midnight Drift looks interesting on her handicap debut and De Little Engine has possibilities granted a cleaner break. However, the suggestion is RIVAS ROB ROY who has become well treated and now returns to his optimum trip. He has strong claims on the form of his emphatic success from the front here last February.
13:20 Colorando
Lucy’s Max needs a market check now quickly dropped in grade but as things stand the trio to focus on look to be Eyes, Banoffee and COLORANDO. Preference is for Marco Botti’s filly, who broke her duck in a C&D nursery last week when travelling strongly and able to overcome racing hard against the far rail in the straight.
13:50 The Pretty Way (NAP)
Kinderdijk, Lucky Ava and Hundon have the ability to feature at this level and are respected but this could be the day for THE PRETTY WAY (nap) to break her duck. She was mugged on the line over 6f at Kempton last time but the way she surged to the front in the straight suggested it wouldn’t be long before she was going one better.

14:25 A Go Go
Super Julius has performed well in defeat on all three starts for his new stable this winter and is respected but there could plausibly be even more to come from A GO GO, who had an off day when unable to lead at Wolverhampton last time but has made very good progress since fitted with blinkers and is well drawn today. Smokey and Hey Ho Let’s Go are others with strong claims.
14:55 Sheila
A trappy handicap in which several of the runners can have a case argued. Marion’s Boy got the better of SHEILA over C&D in November but the selection is much better drawn this time and she might prove the answer now being tried in cheekpieces. Crimewave, Howzer Black and Union Spirit also come into the reckoning.
15:30 Tamborrada
Clay is still capable of better and comes out top on RPR at these weights. However, it’s very likely TAMBORRADA can leave his winning debut form behind him and he’s taken to defy the penalty.
16:05 Double Legend
Competitive for the grade with several runners of interest at this level. Gold Souk confirmed he retained ability when third here on Wednesday, while Three Dragons, Arabescato, Dream Point and Bird To Love all have something to recommend them. DOUBLE LEGEND’s form figures are uninspiring but he’s become very nicely treated and his last two runs have both been better than the distance beaten suggests. He’ll need luck in running but he’s interesting at the likely odds.
