There was plenty to like about VOLKOVKA‘s Market Rasen win at the beginning of the month and she can make light of a penalty with further progress on the cards. Wightman can build on his recent Newbury hurdle debut and may provide the chief threat ahead of Fakenham-winner Can’t Stop Now. Fighting Tiger is a newcomer to keep an eye on in the betting.
13:35 Broken Quest
BROKEN QUEST made a winning start for Tom Symonds at Ludlow and, with Kevin Brogan taking 7lbs off, he looks well capable of going in, even in a more competitive affair. Dell’ Arca is also appealing down in grade and Colonel Manderson strikes as a fascinating handicap debutant.
14:05 Robin of Sherwood
ROBIN OF SHERWOOD has been in top form this season and, after a respectable fourth at Ffos Las, should benefit from the return to this sort of trip, so he’s preferred to recent Lingfield winner Little Red Lion. Oski was in the process of running well when falling on debut for Fergal O’Brien so there could be more to come from him.

PERFECT MYTH has absolutely thrived this season, seemingly all the better for undergoing a third wind operation, and she will prove hard to beat if coping with conditions here. French-import Marta Des Mottes is one to note in the betting and Talking About You should give a good account following her Aintree listed success, but Will Victory remains open to improvement and she is second choice.
15:15 Seaside Girl
SEASIDE GIRL shaped well when fourth at Exeter last month yet can race off a 2lbs lower mark here, so Ben Pauling’s low-mileage mare is taken to add to her earlier Fontwell chasing success. Kiwi Myth hit the ground running when second at Fontwell on her return so this reliable sort is feared most ,with recent Ffos Las scorer Misty Man also sure to have a say despite a 7lbs rise.
15:50 Millbank Flyer
MILLBANK FLYER sets the bar quite high on the form of his debut Hereford second so Harry Fry’s son of Milan looks the one to focus on with improvement very much in the pipeline over this longer trip. Winning- pointer Stellar Magic is much respected for his leading yard on his hurdling bow, while Equus Dreamer is another debutant who has shown up well in points and needs considering.
